This set of a green gold kaftan and matching green and brown coat was first worn by Şehzade Mehmed in the twenty-eighth episode of the second season of Magnificent Century. Both appear again on Şehzade Bayezid in the twenty-fourth episode of the third season. They can also be seen on Şehzade Bayezid's son Orhan in the eighteenth episode of the fourth season.
The spin-off Magnificent Century: Kösem used both kaftan and coat on Şehzade Murad (later Sultan Murad IV) in the twenty-fourth episode of the first season.
The two items appeared again individually in three different shows. The kaftan can be seen on an unknown actor as a young Şehzade Orhan in the first episode of Mehmed The Conqueror, while the coat appears again on an extra in the seventh episode of the second season of Tozkoparan İskender as well another extra playing an Enderûn student in the seventh episode of the first season of Golden Apple: The Grand Conquest.

Hello! Long time follower and I love your page, especially the Magnificent Century content as no hardly writes for them.
Could it be possible to have a Yandere Sehzade Mustafa and a concubine reader who was brought along with Nurbanu. Like both were supposed to be part of Selim's harem, but Mustafa wanted reader when he saw her and strings were pulled to put reader in Mustafa's harem instead.
Thank you in advance and again, I love your work!

Hello dear. I am so glad to hear this. Thank you.😍🥰😘❤ Unfortunately. There are almost no other blogs that write about Magnificent Century/ Kösem. Sad🥺. I hope you like it dear.💞
You and Cecily were captured and sold to the Ottoman Palace at the same time. Like Cecily, you were also a member of a noble family. Unlike Cecily, you were immediately chosen by Hurrem Sultan to join the harem of her son, Prince Selim. Cecily had to struggle to be chosen. You were taking lessons with you, Nurbanu and a few other concubines for days.
Prince Mustafa noticed you when he came to the Istanbul Palace. Your beauty seemed to tear the Prince's heart out of his chest. Prince Mustafa wasted no time in gathering information about who you were from the Palace staff. When he found out that you were chosen for his brother, Prince Selim, he was furious. He wanted you for himself and he knew he had to do something.
Without wasting any time, he immediately asked for help from his mother Mahidevran Sultan. Mahidevran Sultan did not turn down her son's request and agreed to help. Somehow they prevented you from becoming Prince Selim's concubine. To be honest, you were sad to be separated from your friend Nurbanu. You are going to the Sanjak that he rules with Prince Mustafa.
Prince Mustafa gives you many gifts. He invites you to his bed the most. Prince Mustafa's love, desire and wish for you never runs out. You are the mother of all of Prince Mustafa's children. You have more than one child together.

Family of Ahmed I.
Some new information about Fatma: "There is no clear information in the sources about the date of Fatma Sultan's death, it is generally stated that she died after her marriage to Kozbekçi Yusuf Pasha. The cause of her death is unknown. The date on which the jewels to be sold in her estate were recorded is shown as March 1671" (...) "Considering that the inheritance was recorded after the funeral and burial procedures, it is seen that the collection of the estate took time."So she possibly died in very late 1670 or early 1671 we can be fine with that. Based on this new study she left money, inheritance to: - Haseki Sultan, who back then was Emetullah Rabia Gülnüş - Fatma Hanimsultan, who was her step-daughter and so the daughter of Esmehan Kaya Sultan --> this is interesting as Fatma Sultan and Melek Ahmed (father of Fatma Hanimsultan) were not in the best relationship... But at the same times Fatma the older cared for Fatma the younger. At this point i must mention something. We usually consider the marriage of Esmehan Kaya and Melek Ahmed a close and lovely one because of Evliya. Evliya praised the two of them, but at the same time Evliya and Melek Ahmed were relatives, sooooo maybe this whole Melek Ahmed and Esmehan thing was not so lovely? Maybe Fatma disliked Melek Ahmed with a reason? Or maybe she just blamed him for the death of Esmehan Kaya? The article mentions only two sons of Fatma: Hüseyin and Ömer. It says that Hüseyin was born from her marriage to Kaptan-ı Derya Canpoladzade Mustafa Pasha; Ömer was born from her marriage to Koca Yusuf Pasha. But we know another son of Fatma, Süleyman Bey also from Canpolzade Pasha; and one son from her very first marriage, Hasan, who died as a baby. Also it is clear that Fatma Sultan married her third husband Koca Yusuf Pasha not in 1656 but ~1637/8.

who was more cruel in history ?Turhan or Telli Humasah ?and why
I can say, that Turhan wasn’t cruel at all, because she even took responsibilityfor the other sehzades (Suleiman and Ahmed). So we don’t know what would Telli Humasah do on her place if she became Valide Sultan. I think she would be more impudent: “The Istanbul revolt Telli, who was even more insolent by the birth of Shehzade Orhan, continued to turn into madness the abnormal sensitivity of Ibrahim, not knowing how long it would all last”

Şehzade Osmanoğlu, Fetih Müzesi’nde duygulandı
Tumblr media
Osmangazi Belediyesi’nin hizmete sunduğu Panorama 1326 Bursa Fetih Müzesi, Şehzade Orhan Osmanoğlu ve ailesini ağırladı. Osmangazi Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Dündar, şehzade Osmanoğlu ve beraberindeki gruba Bursa’nın fetih gününün 3 boyutlu olarak anlatıldığı dev müzeyi gezdirerek, binanın yapılışıyla ilgili bilgiler verdi.
Dünyanın en büyük tam panoramik müzesinde gördükleri karşısında duygulanan Osmanoğlu, böyle bir eseri kazandırmasından dolayı Başkan Dündar’a teşekkür etti. Müzenin giriş katındaki 16 büyük tabloyu dikkatle inceleyen Orhan Osmanoğlu, 42 metre açıklığındaki dev kubbeye çıktığında ise büyük bir heyecan yaşadı.
Tumblr media
Müzeyi gezerken bir hayli duygulandığını söyleyen Orhan Osmanoğlu, “Muhteşem bir eser olmuş. Belediye Başkanımız Mustafa Dündar’a çok teşekkür ederim. Bütün Türkiye’ye sesleniyorum; Bursa’ya gelip bu müzeyi mutlaka gezin.
Tumblr media
Burada adeta zaman tüneline girdik. Osmanlı’nın Ertuğrul Gazi’den başlayan sürecini bu müzede görüyoruz. Osmanlı Devleti’nin kuruluşu adeta gözümüzün önünde canlandı. Çok duygulandık. Bu Panorama 1326 gezisi, bizi 700 sene öncesine götürdü” dedi

Şehzade Orhan kimdir? Orhan Çelebi nasıl öldü?
New Post has been published on https://damhaber.com/2018/03/20/sehzade-orhan-kimdir-orhan-celebi-nasil-oldu/

KÖSEM SULTAN WEEK | day 3: Kösem and her children
There is no general consensus on the number and names of Kösem's children. The number goes from the six suggested by Sakaoğlu to the eleven claimed by Kumrular; other than her sons who became sultan - Murad IV and Ibrahim - Ayşe Sultan (b. 1605/1608), Fatma Sultan (b. 1605/1606) and Şehzade Kasım (b. 1613/1615) are usually considered her children by all historians.
In 2001, Tezcan successfully demonstrated that Şehzade Mehmed (b. 8.03.1605) was Kösem's eldest child, and Hanzade Sultan (b. 1609) was most certainly her daughter as well. While it is not proven that Gevherhan Sultan (b. 1605/1608) was one of Kösem's daughters, she is sometimes considered as such. Some historians (Sakaoğlu, Kumrular and Peirce as well) believe that Şehzade Süleyman was - or may have been - one of her sons, but Finkel thinks that he was, on the contrary, Şehzade Bayezid and Osman II's blood brother.
In her 2015 book about Kösem Sultan, Kumrular states that Şehzade Selim and Şehzade Orhan should be added to the list of the haseki sultan's children. Both of them are mentioned in a letter sent to Venice on the occasion of Murad IV's ascension to the throne as being currently alive and younger than the new sultan. Historian Erhan Afyoncu suggested that Selim and Orhan may have been Kasım and Ibrahim's second names but Kumrular does not believe that. The absence of the names of Kösem's known sons in that letter hasn't been explained yet, however.
